Before there was The Walking Dead there was Deadworld. Here are all the original Deadworld series collected into a 9 volume series. This Book Six Archive edition collects issues #24-26 of the first volume of Deadworld. Also included, the original tale of "Dead Killer," from issues #19-21. In the main story, the surviving human group decides to make a stand at an old Michigan fort and lure the zombies in for a slaughter so that they can make their escape across the Mackinaw Bridge into the desolated Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

A man wakes up naked, alone, and the apparent victim of a terrible plane crash. However, there are no other survivors and, strangely enough, no evidence of fatalities either. With no memory of how he got there and limited survival skills, he must withstand the elements, face vicious predators, and search for clues as to how and why he came to be in this wilderness. Overwhelmed with these tasks, he begins to feel a growing paranoia that someone or something is watching him.
